how do you chose what to offer at see/saw?

Our mission is to offer you toys and products that support personal development and create joyful moments. We carry sustainable wooden toys, plushies, puzzles, games, an adorable rainbow of art supplies and cruelty-free + natural get ready with me products. All the goodies for expressing yourself and learning through imaginative play! For playful people ages 0 to 99+. We want our products to make a difference in your life.

can you give us an example of how your brands support sustainability?

Let’s start with PlanToys: PlanToys are made with sustainable materials, including reclaimed rubberwood in Thailand. They were the first toy manufacturer to create toys by upcycling rubberwood from rubber trees that no longer produce latex and would have been burned as waste. Instead, PlanToys repurposes them to make amazing toys for children.

And we love HABA, too: HABA FAMILYGROUP relies on sustainable building technology, including geothermal heat exchangers, solar power, and rainwater collection for use in sanitary facilities.

The HABA FAMILYGROUP is not only an energy consumer, but also its own energy supplier. Heat is needed for heating the various buildings as well as for drying timber in the company's own drying chamber. This heat is generated almost exclusively by burning residual wood such as wood chips or scrap material.
